Cuddled up in the southeastern zone of Rajasthan, Ranthambore National Park is one of the prominent conurbations of Rajasthan. Ranthambore has partly plain and partly undulating hilly terrain. The South and southeast part of the district has hills and broken ground which forms a part of a vast tract of rugged region enclosing the narrow valley of the Chambal river. Surrounded by Vindhyas & Aravalis, this place is a treat for adventure enthusiasts as well as the ones with a fascination for history, with the Ranthambore National park- the most renowned park in northern India and the Ranthambore Fort which was recently included in the list of UNESCO’s World Heritage sites, being the main attractions.
Ranthambore National Park
The park, formerly a hunting paradise for the Jaipur Royal Family now is home to the species of plants, reptiles, birds & especially to The Royal Bengal Tigers. Much like the other royal connections of Rajasthan, even this wildlife reserve has relations with the glorious bygone days. With great game viewing opportunities and beautiful terrains, Ranthambhore has arguably considered the best place to spot the Royal Bengal Tigers.
